The year was 1992. The place was Camp Berean near Mt. Morris, Illinois. Mark Swanson, youth pastor at Berean Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois, had flown our family out to be with his young people at their first year of camp. He had asked Deborah Wells, our fourth sister, to write a theme song. Uncertain, she decided to go ahead and at least try. "Press Toward the Mark" was written, and since then, every year (with the exception of one or two) she wrote a theme song for Camp Berean. This CD represents fifteen years of Camp and brings to you the memories we shared there. We pray that it lifts your spirit and gives you a desire to draw closer to Him.
